Come On People - The Review

I was a guest on the Black Women's Roundtable to participate in a audio review and discussion of Bill Cosby and Dr. Alvin F. Poussaint's book; Come On People, On the Path from Victims to Victors

The book is a great roadmap for black achievement. While the tone in the book has been muted probably in response of criticism that he was "beating up on poor folks", but the facts are the facts and they are not pretty. If you get beyond the grim numbers there are plentiful examples of people lifting themselves out of grim situations during "Call Outs" held across the nation.

This is a book that should be in other formats because the sad fact is that the folks that needed this important information will not get it. This is hopefully first in the series of books, DVDs, New Media Content that will reach the masses.

This is a book that I highly recommend.
